I’ve lived in pretty warm and tropical parts, and I’ve lived in some pretty cold and frigid parts. I prefer the cold. I can always layer up if it’s cold. But if it’s hot, there’s only so much I can take off ๐
I like the cold!

Are you a hot or cold person?
Take care and God bless!

Interesting question! I’ve lived in a dry/hot/arid climate my entire life and it’s awful. I currently have a pretty low tolerance for cold, but I’m hoping if I move someplace cold, I’ll be able to acclimate.

Pretty much the same here!
With the fact that I would like to live in colder regions but with enough sun. As soon as we are a few days without the sun, I immediately miss its light. Not the warmth though ๐

Same here, except it was hot and humid. Went from that to cold and dry, and it’s been nicer, IMO. To some, it takes some getting used to. To me, it was instantly nice! hehe๐

I definitely prefer cold to heat. Weโre gradually transitioning into the rainy/cold season over here and Iโm looking forward!

That sounds like very cozy weather ๐

I used to love winter more than summer. I have very fair skin and sunburn was not my friend, as I get older and have joint pain & an autoimmune condition that affects my blood circulation I am always cold so winter is painful. I do still enjoy cold seasons for the wardrobe and love eating soup and drinking hot drinks under a blanket.

I’m sorry to hear that. And yes, the coziness of the cold weather is pretty awesome ๐

Here in ROC city itโs cold for six months and mild/hot the other six. I like the change but Iโm also learning the older a person gets the harder it is to ward off the cold.

Same here ๐ We’re just now entering a warmer season, and it’s mid-May! Oh, that’s too bad. Someone else commented something similar. I never considered that before.

I definitely prefer hot weather, but that’s mostly because the cold aggravates my asthma, so I kind of have no choice, haha. But being cozy inside when it’s cold outside is probably my favorite.

Iโm glad winter is done. ๐ Itโs not so much the cold weather but the short time of daylight gets to me. My ideal season is Spring when the temperature is between 15-25, thatโs that sweet spot for me!

Oh, I bet! It’s mid-May and we’re just now entering spring weather. Spring is nice here too ๐ I agree, that’s the sweet spot!

I live in a 4 seasons climate, we get it all. I prefer cool, but I would always rather be cold and bundle up, then sweating.

Sounds nice ๐ Oh, me too! Especially since I sweat so easily ๐ Kind of embarrassing, hehe.

I prefer cool temps- not cold not hot. Give me 60 to 65 degree days and 40 degree nights ๐

The frozen roses look so beautiful!!! And, I admire that you prefer the cold; I wish I could handle it better. I feel like I’m freezing if it’s below 80! So I’m definitely a hot weather person, hee hee! ๐ฅฐ

We lived in FL for 40 years. That was enough summer to last three lifetimes. We returned to the Midwest of our childhoods upon retiring–to be close to family. But I’m with you, Yari–it’s easier to deal with the cold than the heat. As a Minnesotan once told me: “There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!”
