Barbie-pink flowers bloomed from a tree in my backyard, one whose branches reach up to my bathroom window.
These flowers felt like a gift, a lovely bouquet. It very much looked like the tree was extending its branches towards my window, offering me the lovely little buds with the pink petals 💖
Every day, I made sure to take a moment (just a few seconds) to gaze at the flowers. In the afternoon, the sun would shine into my window, and the flowers would cast my bathroom in a soft pink glow.
Then the hail came. It was a night full of thunder and rain. The hail pelted our roof for half and hour. And the next day…
Well, a lot of the petals are now gone, which makes me glad I took the time to stop for a moment and enjoy all those beautiful little pink flowers. The tree is still hanging on to some, and I plan to enjoy those.
Just for a few moments every day.
I’m not sure when they’ll be gone again.

I am the same way as you! I have a bunch of different cherry trees and they all bud and flower at different times; however, I make sure to enjoy the flowers while they are in bloom. Amazing that God cares even more for us than the flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow.
