The Moth

Ahhh๐Ÿ˜Š It’s 6am and I am awake before everyone else. I have the house to myself, and I’m ready to enjoy my hot cup of coffee. I love my baby, but right now, I love that he’s sleeping and I can drink my coffee hot!

A giant moth has entered the chat.

And I HATE IT!!! Eww How BIG do these things get??? Okay, okay. I’ll remain calm. It’s stuck to the wall not bothering anybody, so I’ll just drink my–

IT’s FLYING!!! And why is it chasing me??? I’m batting it away with an oven mitt and the thing keeps fluttering at me. I pulled a shoulder muscle, now I’m achy and freaked out too ๐Ÿ˜ญ

After a chase around my kitchen, it flutters to the window, knocking itself against the glass, and I see my chance. I close the blinds. There. Now it’s between the glass and the blinds and it can’t get out. I can hear it tap-tapping against the window every now and then. So that’s settled.

  1. I think I’d prefer the moths to eat the birds that constantly lurk outside my window. I had to get up and look outside the window several times yesterday because it sounded like someone was up to no good in my backyard, but it was just a bunch of noisy grackles, also up to no good!

  2. Interesting sharing little experiences in life ๐Ÿ™‚ But moths are harmless. Occasionally, wasp enter my room and I open the door and window to let it find the way out. Nice to come by your blog. Welcome to visit my travel-lifestyle blog. Thans. Bliss.
