I Could Never Forget!

Written for my Baby Bear πŸ’— But as always, I’m sure your mom felt the same way, too ~ so in a way, this is also for you!

I don’t remember my first date, or the first time I danced at a middle school dance. I don’t particularly remember any parties I’ve been to, or have a past shopping spree in mind. I’m not sure what was my favorite color growing up. I mean, I remember lots of stuff in general, and I guess that’s okay and all.

But you? I will always remember you πŸ₯°

I will always remember the first time you moved, and especially when I could see it through my belly! How you kicked the nurse’s doppler and we were all amazed and delighted ~ that I will never forget 😁

I will always remember that time I felt a rhythm… and I could only wonder if you were kicking in time, to the beat of your own song… No, that couldn’t be it! What was that??? (Later I realized it was your hiccups πŸ˜…).

I will always remember the first time I held you, and the first time I looked in your eyes. I will always remember how tiny you were, and how wonderfully you latched! I will remember the sleepless nights, and how I just couldn’t wait to see you. Tired or not, exhausted or rested, all I wanted was to hold you in my arms πŸ₯°

The first time you smiled 😊 When you waved at me in the sonogram. Your first giggle, first bath, first taste of baby food, first tooth, your first steps… Those I could never forget!

Thank you for reading! Take care and God bless,

  1. Those are the memories that are that are so important to us. It was a long time ago, but I remember seeing him at 8 weeks in the sonogram. I was overwhelmed and so joyous that God saw fit to bless our family.

    Shalom!
