Do Not Ask Me…

What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.

“Why are you so quiet?”

Then everyone looks at me.

๐Ÿ˜

To which I’m going to start replying, “…you can see me?”

Ugh, but for real! I hate being asked why I’m so quiet or shy! I’m just not a chatty Patty, except with my closest friends.

I’m a natural listener, and I do talk, but at my own pace. I’m going to have to account for every word anyway (Matthew 12:36), so I like that I’m quiet.

Don’t ask me why ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜…

  1. There are too many talkers wanting to be heard, and too many self-important talkers who think they know it all when they really understand the least. There are too many talkers who hijack conversations. Those who quietly listen, they learn and think and grow and they politely allow others to express themselves. Listening is gold ๐Ÿฅ‡

  3. I am a quiet person as well. Probably because I’m too busy thinking about what I’m going to say, then rewording it until it’s just right…and then the moment has passed to say it, lol. That’s why I’ve always been better at communication through writing. I can sit and think about it without being rushed to blurt something out.

  4. I’m also a quiet person, and I’ve been asked that same question constantly my entire life. I like to tell myself that the words hold more weight when they come less frequently… if us quiet types have something to say, it must be important. ๐Ÿ˜Š
